7. Video Captioning
Video Captioning is closely related to transcription in that it involves the translation of audio to text.
However, unlike in transcription, the text generated from the audio in the video, called video captions, is displayed as the video plays.
The captions can be in the language spoken in the video’s audio, or a translation to another language. For instance, in some German, Chinese or South African movies/ shows where the spoken language is these languages, the video captions can also be availed in English for an audience that reads and understands English.
If you want to make money through video captioning, you can get your training from one of the gurus and excellent trainers in this field, David Mbugua, and his course is on Udemy.
8. Sale of Tangible Products All Over the Internet
Online Freelancing can also comprise the sale of tangible products such as clothes, electronics, etc. on virtual platforms such as FaceBook, Blog/ Website, etc.
Some people run virtual market alongside a physical business place/ stall where clients have the option to pick up their products.
Other sellers run exclusive virtual shops in which case they have to engage the services of shipping/ courier companies/ individuals to transport the purchased items to the clients. Amazon, eBay, Alibaba, shopify, kilimall, jumia, AliExpress, and mimi comprise some of these virtual shops.
9. Sale of intangible products
The hunger for knowledge and skills by people who, for one reason or another, cannot attend physical classes, has been met with online/ virtual schools or by people who provide courses on the Internet. Tutors, academicians and professional trainers (in different niches) package their training resources in courses that they can avail to the people who need them at a cost. Some of the online platforms for courses include www.udemy.com, www.coursera.com, etc. Once in while some virtual schools/ tutors offer discounts to their students.
10. Blogging
Blogs are electronic records of one or multiple aspects of a person or an organization. People keep personal blogs or business blogs.
Some people maintain blogs as an outlet of their emotions, whereas other people/ organizations run blogs for financial benefits.
Benefits of a owning and running a blog may include creating and maintaining the publicity of a person/ brand, financial income that comes from advertising, proof of knowledge and skills in the Internet money-making field, etc.
11. YouTube
YouTube is a platform that allows people to upload video free of charge. Everyone who has a GMail account, has a free YouTube account by default, as YouTube and GMail are provided by Google.
Making money is possible with a YouTube Channel if the videos on the channel are monetized. People who upload original works can earn income from Google if the viewers of such videos watch the ads that Google places on such videos. As a new rule from YouTube, a YouTube Channel must have at least 1000 subscribers and 4000 hours of watch time.
Don’t panic. You can charge clients to show their content or talk about their brand on YouTube Channel
12. Sale of Services, e.g Consultancy, Editing Services, etc.
Besides selling tangible or intangible products, some people have advanced or specialized skills and knowledge in one field/ niche or another, and they can cash in from people who require advice/ consultation.
For instance, business moguls, best authors/ eBook sellers (like Tom Corson Knowles), Online Freelancing gurus (the likes of Walter Akolo, Bamidele Onibalusi, David Mbugua Kiongo, Sheeroh Kiarie, Irene Fenty Muriuki, etc.), Fashionistas and Image Consultants like This Is Ess, and tech-savvy professionals like Xtian Dela can offer their advice/ guidance/ consultancy for a fee.
13. Affiliate Marketing

15. Selling high quality photos on various virtual platforms
Not everyone who owns/ runs a website has the high-quality photos that s/he would love to put on their website.
This means that at some point or another, these people will have to scout for the photos that match their content without anyone laying claims on the photos.
People who have the time, the cameras(s) and the right settings can take high-quality photos and provide these on platforms where bloggers and other people can these photos free or at a price. Pixabay and Pexels comprise some of the sites where photos are availed.
16. Niche Websites
CONCLUSION
As I mentioned, this list is not exhaustive of all the hustles that Online Freelancers can engage. New ventures are always being created through the invention of new gadgets and web-based applications, as well as people’s need for some products or services. Needless to say, you can engage in as many/ few online activities as you desire; your only limiting factors would be your imagination, your skills, and access to some equipment.

You do not necessarily need training if you can already find sufficient information to get you going.

Hallo Calvince,
I am glad you found the post informative.
Kindly let me know what you mean by you are not good in *writing*? Do you mean a specific style of writing or some content writing?
The good news is that there are multiple styles of writing and you do not have to be stuck in only one format; besides, you can always develop your writing skills gradually.
Most, if not all research, will, in the end, require you to compile (in whatever format the client specifies) the information you researched. For instance if you got instructions to write about iPad Pro, you would do your Internet research to understand what the iPad pro is about and such, then you would have to put the information in a comprehensive way in which someone can understand.
Kindly let me know if you need further assistance, and if possible point out the specific areas I can assist you.
All the best.
